We collect your name, email address, phone number, and booking details when you make an enquiry or reservation. We use this information solely to manage your booking, communicate with you before and during your stay, and comply with Portuguese legal obligations (including Alojamento Local registration requirements).
If you visit our website, we also collect standard technical data (IP address, pages visited, browser type) via cookies and Google Analytics to help us improve the site.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Third Parties
If you book via Airbnb or VRBO, your data is also processed under their respective privacy policies. We use Google Analytics for website statistics. We may share guest registration data with Portuguese authorities as required by law.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
Booking records are kept for 7 years as required by Portuguese tax law. Enquiries that don’t result in a booking are deleted after 2 years. Analytics data is retained for 26 months.
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject “Data Rights Request” and we will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD, at www.cnpd.pt.
